Hi, I’m Cynthia—Christian, wife, mom, daughter, sister, doula, photographer, and friend. My journey into this work started during one of the most transformative seasons of my life: pregnancy. When I was expecting my daughter, I felt this deep pull to understand birth on a deeper level. I wanted to create a positive experience for myself, one rooted in knowledge and trust.
Along the way, I discovered the heart of doula work, and something just clicked. I knew this was my calling—a way to hold space for women during the most sacred moments of their lives.
Photography soon became an extension of that calling. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images—it’s about creating a bond that honors every stage of a mother’s journey. From maternity to birth, and from newborn snuggles to family milestones, my role is to celebrate the story of your life as it unfolds. It’s an honor I don’t take lightly, and every session feels like a gift to me.

Why 'Called To Serve'
The word “doula” comes from the Greek word meaning “servant”—someone who provides unwavering support and care to another. To me, it’s so much more than a title; it’s a calling.
For years, I struggled to figure out where I fit in. I wondered what career path I should follow or what work would bring true meaning to my life. It wasn’t until I became pregnant that everything started to fall into place. When I discovered the world of doula work, it was like a light switched on in my heart—I finally understood that serving women is what I was made to do.
After thoughtful prayer and reflection, choosing the name “Called to Serve” felt like the most natural decision. It perfectly captures the heart of my work as both a doula and a photographer.
Called to Serve seeks to honor the sacred journey of motherhood, from pregnancy and birth to postpartum and every precious milestone in between. As a Christian doula, my greatest desire is to support you through the tender transition from maiden to mother. And as a photographer, it’s my joy to capture your most meaningful moments along the way.
What a privilege it is to serve women in this way—it’s truly an honor I hold close to my heart.
